"Exotic Town" is planned to Kanda Suda-cho located in the south of Akihabara in Tokyo.
It is composed of two or more temporary residence and open spaces mainly scattered in the town.
"Exotic" here not only means statelessness but also means that people who live here are borderless in terms of sex, age, nationality, occupation, and social position.
There were stateless cities and cheap hotel streets in many foreign countries I have traveled and immigrants and backpackers overflowed there.
Everyone is a stranger but everyone can be a local..
There is no such place in Japan.
Such place where the flows of people, information, and time are complicatedly blended.
What I suggest here is the place where people can start over.
Relationships bet ween people are reexamined and the new wind blows in the city where the hollowing out advances there.
"Moratorium" is grasped positively and people make the "nest" themselves in the irregular flow.
